1.  I am very interested in Quranism but I find that my family and friends oppose Quranism and say really bad things about it. What should I do?

2. I have spoke to some Muslims about you and they say you’re not Muslims. They have given various reasons for this view. What is your response to them?

3. I have been browsing the internet for Quranist websites and their views on salat (commonly understood to be the Muslim ritual prayer) is very worrying? Why do you modify the Salat which the Muslims agree on and why do some of you reject it totally?

Salam. I have discarded sunna about a half year ago and been sticking to quran alone ever since. I've come across Rashad Khalifa and listened to what he teached and wondering how you look upon his theory of " 19" im not totally sure whether he is a messenger or not . I incline to think he is but as i dont know arabic i dont want to take chances so i would like to know what your stance is ?

The last messenger was the Propeht Mohammad. If you're a Quranist the point is to not follow other human beings.

I think the point of Quranism is that whatever the Quran insists you do, you do, and whatever it insists you do not do, you don't do. Other than that, all things are optional. In other words, if you perform Salat a certain way, and the Quran does not specifically forbid that way, then it is permitted but not required that you do it that way. But you can if you like.

I have my passport, vaccination, and serious intention for Hajj later this year. As I gravitate toward Quranism as my way of life, apparently I have to rely upon traditional Islamic sources to complete Hajj. I feel like I'm in a conundrum.
